VarioFlow over Rexroth, the new generation of chain conveyor
Saturday, June 28, 2014Description :
Today, production, assembly and packaging lines have to be able to handle smaller batches, more frequent product changes and more product variants. For this reason, chain conveyor systems must:

 - Be simple to implement and assemble,

 - Be quickly available for production,

 - While remaining as silent as possible.

The VarioFlow plus from Rexroth fulfills all these criteria and thus facilitates the work of the manufacturers and the users.

Because each project is unique, the new Rexroth chain conveyor system adapts to any kind of work environment and provides customized solutions.

The VarioFlow plus saves valuable time during commissioning: the intelligent drive solution allows for a great deal of design freedom, and the mounting position of the motor can be chosen on site. This reduces drive variances to a minimum.

The customer can select and associate the necessary components to his needs using the MT Pro software "Layout Designer". This simple and fast design tool creates conveyor installations, automatically generates nomenclatures and offers the possibility of extracting them in the format of your CAD.

Its patented chain contributes greatly to the reduction of the noise and therefore to the improvement of the working conditions. This performance has been optimized by Rexroth thanks to the use of specific laterally mounted slide rails. This solution guarantees low wear and fast and reliable assembly.

The VarioFlow plus Rexroth system is based on standardized components with six different chain widths including a new one of 120 mm. This greatly reduces the number of spare parts for the user. The standard chain can withstand a maximum voltage of 1,250 Newtons. The small chain retention area ensures safer and more reliable transport for small parts.

The conveyor is available in two variants: the standard aluminum version and the stainless steel version for applications requiring increased hygiene, for example in the food industry, where Rexroth uses components made of materials in compliance with the regulations in force Within the FDA.

In addition, for automotive, electronic and assembly applications, Rexroth also offers a workpiece pallet system.
